Volunteering in Latvia

Each profession comes from the volunteer work. The first social worker was a volunteer, as well as other social assistance and nursing staff. Gradually volunteers were replaced by a labor. And now people are worried about the fact that volunteers may replace professional staff, although historically the process has been upside down.
